At the UK Ice Hockey Players Association (UKIHPA), we exist to support, protect and represent everyone involved in UK ice hockey.

We are building an independent, trusted voice for players, officials and backroom staff at every level of the game - from grassroots and Junior hockey through to Elite and retired athletes. 

Our Commitment

UKIHPA is founded on integrity, inclusivity and independence. We are committed to: 

• Promoting player welfare, safeguarding and duty of care
• Championing fair treatment, transparency and accountability
• Providing access to mental health and wellbeing support
• Supporting members through injury, career transition and life beyond the sport
• Working constructively with clubs, leagues and governing bodies to help raise standards across the game

Built by individuals with lived experience of UK hockey, this association has been created with one clear purpose:

To ensure no one in our sport is ever left without support, a voice or representation - on the ice and beyond it.
