Reporting & Safeguarding

UKIHPA encourages safe and responsible reporting of welfare concerns. We are developing independent guidance pathways to ensure concerns are handled appropriately and responsibly.

LEGAL & REPRESENTATION

UKIHPA provides independent guidance to support players in making informed decisions, without replacing formal legal representation. We help by signposting appropriate professional support, assisting members in understanding their options, and promoting fair treatment and transparency-because informed players are protected players.UKIHPA also recognises that players and those involved in the game may require professional legal advice at times. To support this, we work alongside an experienced and respected sports law professional with extensive expertise in athlete representation, governance, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution within sport. Through this relationship, members can be signposted to independent legal counsel where appropriate.
